The Copyright Office of India has recently issued a public notice inviting objections / suggestions from general public and stakeholders in respect of the registration application of Screenwriters Rights Association of India (#SRAI) as a Copyright Society under the provisions of section 33 of the Copyright Act, 1957 (available here https://lnkd.in/fnSDM3Z).
Initially the objections / suggestions were invited till September 28, 2017 which was further extended, on the request of the stakeholders, for another 14 working days vide another public notice dated 14 September 2017 (available here https://lnkd.in/fgYhSCn).
