We are pleased to share that Ms. Abhilasha Niroola and Mr. Akshay Mehta, have been respectively selected in Bulletins Committee and Non-Traditional Marks Committee of International Trademark Association (INTA) for 2020 – 2021 term.
The Bulletins Committee is responsible for publishing 21 INTA Bulletin issues each calendar year containing news about Association activities, trademark law and practice, and related intellectual property law and practice.
The Non-Traditional Marks Committee develops and advocates the Association’s policy regarding the balanced protection of nontraditional trademarks (e.g., sound, color, trade dress). The committee will monitor developments in treaties, cases, legislation and regulation in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the Board. Work includes report and submission writing, and advocacy in conjunction with relevant INTA committees and staff.
