Amended Patent Rules, 2016 have come into force with effect from 16 May 2016.
The Indian Patent Office via public notice dated 16 May 2016 have notified that via publication in Gazette of India, Government of India have made Patent (Amendment) Rules, 2016 effective from 16 May 2016.
